Steve Nash Is Such a Dude

Some players need a wake-up call to perform at their highest level. Suns point guard Steve Nash seems to react best to the wake-up elbow in the eye. Nash took a Tim Duncan elbow to the eye with 5:47 to go in the third quarter in Game 4 of the Western Conference Semifinals. Six stitches later, he returned to score 12 of his 20 points in the fourth to lead the Suns to a four-game sweep of the Spurs, their first series win over their dreaded nemesis. 

He didn't have to come back in this game. Suns are up 3-0 in the series and he very well could have sat on the bench and took it easy but that's not Steve Nash. He's just a warrior. And for all those hoping to get drafted on my wiffle ball squad, please take note of this playing style. You get cut, a little booboo? I don't give a shit. Chicks dig scars and chicks dig the long ball and you're not doing either by whining to me about this scrape you got after you tripped over the rock on the first base line. By the way, we're wearing all black every game. Gotta shut it down.
