Jay Glazer of FOX reports that the Vikings and the Patriots are working on a trade that would send receiver Randy Moss back to Minnesota, the place where his career began. Glazer reports that the deal, which is close, hinges on the Vikings working out terms of a new contract with Moss, who is signed through 2010. Ironically, the Vikings were widely believed to have a deal in place with receiver Vincent Jackson, but that they couldn't work out the terms of a trade.
So our defense and special teams plays uncharacteristically well and we think we can just throw away Randy Moss because he wasn't a factor last night? Seriously? Best down field receiver in the game and we want to give him up to the Vikings? We gotta fucking play them in 4 weeks. I understand he only has 9 catches this year but he's not a possession receiver and never has been. You gotta look at the catches and see how many of those were touchdowns. I think he has 3. And if my 0.0 GPA in mathematics serves me well then that means 33.3% of the time Randy catches a ball, it's going on the board for 6 points. He almost had one last night on that fake spike from Brady but then half of New England would have ejaculated in their pants. I just hope this isn't true because as much as I love Wes Welker, I can't go through an entire season of him and Brady playing pitch and catch. The bottom line is you don't break up a power couple like Brady and Moss.
