NEW YORK (AP)—Manchester United will play four games in the United States and Canada as part of a preseason North American tour.
Why? What does Manchester United, and the MLS teams think they are going to get out of this? I'll tell you. The MLS defenders are going to get humiliated by Rooney while none of the other players get a chance to touch the ball. Americans will be reminded of how big of a joke our soccer teams are compared to Europe's. It's clear what Manchester United wants. England is still bitter about us destroying them in the American Revolution. So Tthey see this as their final shot at redemption and theyre just going to send over their best soccer team to show that they havent forgotten. I think the aftermath of this little tour will be about equivalent to the Revolution.
