Rahm Emmanuel Just Doesn't Give a Fuck

according to Rep. Eric Massa, the embattled New York Democrat who resigned Monday and used his last hours in office to settle some scores with party leaders. He reserved his most excoriating stuff for Emanuel, whom he called "son of the devil's spawn" on his weekly radio show Sunday. "He is an individual who would sell his mother to get a vote. He would strap his children to a front end of a steam locomotive," Massa said. Illustrating his point, he told the story of how he winded up in an argument with the chief of staff while they were both naked in the congressional gym showers. Massa said Emanuel came up to him last year, shortly after he entered Congress, while he was trying to clean up to give him grief about a budget vote. "I'm sitting there showering, naked as a jaybird, and here comes Rahm Emanuel, not even with a towel wrapped around his tush, poking his finger in my chest, yelling at me because I wasn't gonna vote for the president's budget," Massa said. "Do you know how awkward it is to have a political argument with a naked man? ... It's ridiculous."

Do you know how awkward it is to have an argument with a naked man? Might be my favorite quote of 2010. It does probe a very interesting question though. I wouldn't want to have an argument with a naked man, especially one of Rahm Emannuel's pedigree. That dude is cold blooded. He would steal your lunch money, buy a cookie, take one bite then step on it just to spite you. I love it. Honestly, duels on the congress floor might be the best fights throughout history. Fuck Ali/Fraizer. Have you ever heard of Andrew Jackson? He fought in 13 duels and even killed a man and he was president! Aaron Burr didn't like the way Alexander Hamilton described him at a dinner party so he shot the motherfucker in a duel. And got away with it. What I'm saying is if these men can't hash out their differences in shower, naked as a jaybird then where can they do it?

P.S. What exactly is a jaybird and what does it look like when not fully clothed? I'm gonna be working on that for the rest of the night.
