Apparently the MLS is Made Up of a Bunch of Babies
NEW YORK (AP)—Major League Soccer and its players called a joint news conference for Saturday and were near agreement on a five-year contract that would avoid a strike scheduled for next week, a person familiar with the negotiations told The Associated Press.
The MLS is on strike because they want higher salaries or something. Im pretty impartial on this issue but i kinda feel like they shouldnt get higher salaries. Theyre really not that good. Unless you're Landon Donovan status, youre not that exciting to watch. Just watch an MLS game, and then watch a European soccer game, its completely different. You have to be good to earn money, and everyone is good in Europe, therefore, through the communative property, go to Europe to earn more money. Or, step your game up here and start drawing bigger crowds to the games. Until you do either of those, youre not going to get more money. Also, you're playing a game as your career. Be happy with $80,000 dollars a year. I do more work than you and i get paid 7 dollars an hour. Do you see me complaining? No. Suck it up and accept your pay, or go to Europe. I dont care, i dont watch you scrubs anyway.
P.S. Its rumored that if the MLS does go on strike, Donovan is going to stay in Europe. So if theyre smart they'll drop those picket signs.
