England Beats Bangladesh In Cricket. I Think?

DHAKA, Bangladesh (AP) - Stand-in captain Alastair Cook smashed an unbeaten 109 to lead England to a nine-wicket win over Bangladesh in the second test Wednesday to sweep the two-match series. Offspinner James Tredwell claimed his fourth wicket, and sixth of the match, shortly after lunch to dismiss Bangladesh for 285 and leave England to require 209 runs to win. England reached the target comfortably, losing only Jonathan Trott to a run out on 19 from a throw by Jaharul Islam. Kevin Pietersen smashed 74 not out and put on 167 with Cook in 31 overs to lead the visitors to victory at Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium. “It was really a good effort. We are very happy to have won the series,” said Cook, who also hit 173 as England won the first test by 181 runs in Chittagong. Bangladesh captain Shakib Al Hasan said his team had fought back well after the first test loss. “We now look forward to our visit to England in May-June,” Al Hasan said. Graeme Swann was selected as the man-of-the-series after claiming 16 wickets, including a 10-wicket haul in the first innings. “It has been a hard work out there,” Swann said. “Bangladesh has proved they are an improving side.” Earlier, Al Hasan was four runs short of a century when he was stumped by Matt Prior off Tredwell, who finished with 4-82. Al Hasan brought up his 50 off 114 balls with five boundaries. Bangladesh played only five minutes and added 10 runs to its lunch score of 198-9 before ending its second innings. Abdur Razzak was dismissed with the last ball before lunch, trapped lbw by Steven Finn for 8. Resuming on 172-6, Hasan completed his half century as England struggled to make an early breakthrough. Bangladesh added 60 runs before it lost the day’s first wicket - nightwatchman Shafiul Islam for 28, caught by Trott off Tredwell after England had taken the new ball. Bangladesh also lost Naeem Islam for 3, caught by Pietersen off Tredwell.

Last year I took on hockey and dominated the shit out of it. I couldn't tell what it meant to get pucks in deep, finish your checks and attack the slots but today I know it's the only way to win in a cutthroat league. And now the time has come for me to move on to a new sport and expand my empire. Cricket. A 9 wicket win must be a pretty dominating performance. I don't know what an offspinner is but it's something I think I'd like to try with a female of my choice. What's a nightwatchman? I guarantee it's the creepiest looking dude on the squad. I'm not surprised his name is Shafiul Islam. There's just so many terms I want to learn so I can use them in everyday life. Like, "Nah Donahue couldn't get the beer. He got stumped by trott off tredwell. Or something"
