Mark Cuban is Really Rich (Plus Other NBA Trades/Signings)

The Mavs traded for centers Tyson Chandler and Alexis Ajinca from the Bobcats in exchange for "center Erick Dampier, forward Eduardo Najera, shooting guard Matt Carroll and cash considerations". The Bobcats get rid of Chandler's $12.5 million contract and they acquire Dampier's non-guaranteed $13 million one. That means they can cut him without any consequences.

On Monday it was thought that the Bobcats and Raptors had agreed to a trade that would have sent Tyson Chandler and Boris Diaw to the Raptors for Jose Calderon and Reggie Evans. The Raptors are a little salty-dog-cafe that the Bobcats backed out and traded with the Mavs because they thought the agreement was final. Reggie Evans even posted a thank you note to the Toronto fans on his twitter page.

• The Nuggets signed forward Al Harrington to a 5-year, $34 million deal
