Braves and Blue Jays Swap Worthless Players
The Braves traded Yusmell Escobar, Jo-Jo "I'm not the singer" Reyes, minor league pitcher Tim "Don't call me Phil" Collins and minor league shortstop Tyler Pastornicky to the Blue Jays for Alex Gonzalez. In other news, I didn't shower today. Who the hell cares about this trade? The Braves and Blue Jays are swapping shitty players and trying to appease their fans. It has no fantasy impact for you nerds out there and you should not own either of these 2 shortstops, let alone the other schmucks thrown in the deal.
Yunel's line is 28/0/19/.238/.334/5 (R/HR/RBI/AVG/OBP/SB). That is awful. Alex Gonzalez is in the middle of a career year with 17 HR but batting .259 with an OBP of .296. Ouch. The 17 HR are trying as hard as they can to mask the fact that he actually sucks. I realize you will probably get bored reading this because I am bored typing it so here's 2 pics of Nicole Scherzinger in a bikini to keep you happy. As always click to enlarge.
