I Miss You, Tiger Woods
A day after multiple reports had Tiger Woods returning to competitive golf at the Arnold Palmer Invitational in two weeks or the Masters next month, a source told ESPN.com Friday that "no final decision has been made" with regards to his schedule. Speculation has been furious since it was learned that Woods returned to Orlando, Fla., two weeks ago following a counseling stint and immediately began practicing.
I really hope Tiger makes his return at this tournament. You know he's been doing nothing lately except practicing. I bet the little therapy break helped him. He gets a little counseling, and hes back on the range the next day for 9 hours hitting 670 yard drives, no exageration. Then he takes it to the actual course and i bet he's hitting lower scores than ever right now. Let me lay out the scenario for you if he returns to play in the Arnold Palmer Invitational: With hours of practicing under his belt he's going to come out swinging right away. Birdies and pars all day. There will be no more worrying about mistresses clearing their names off the phone, that had to be messing with his game before. There's going to be tons of pressure on him every day, and he's going to love it. No one performs under pressure like Tiger. Come sunday, he's going to be celebrating with Stevie, while all the other scrubs that call themselves golfers will be hanging their heads in embarassment. Mark my words, if/when Tiger returns, he's going to come back with a bang, and golf will finally be interesting again. As for all of the other golfers, enjoy this time without Tiger while it lasts.
