Sean Avery Is Done For The Season
According to Steve Zipay of Newsday, Rangers head coach John Tortorella said it was doubtful that forward Sean Avery would play in the team’s final two games against the Flyers, and it is unclear if Avery could even play if they made the playoffs. Avery has been out for nearly two weeks now after he injured his knee in a game against the Maple Leafs. He underwent a treatment of platelet-rich plasma therapy last week, which was supposed to speed up recovery time, and then underwent another such treatment this past Tuesday. Avery said it’s too soon to tell if the treatment has had the desired effect.
Well hockey is over for me as far as I'm concerned. I really don't give a shit about what happens to the Rangers is Sean Avery has no part of it. Maybe if they weren't from New York but they are and I gotta have some standards. It's too bad because he seems to the x-factor whenever they play Philly.
