WBL Injury Wire

It's a long season and things tend to get pulled, ripped, torn, blown up, shattered, snapped and all of the above in the cut throat Wiffle Ball League. The DL looks something like this.

Dan Donahue: Blown up knee. Don't really know what happened. Poor kid was up to bat, swung, got a hit, tripped over his own feet, got tagged out all while writhing in pain on the ground. If his career is over it might not be the worst thing that ever happened to the Rude Boyz.

Sellberg: Inflated Ego. Records show he started showing symptoms in the fall of 2008. No cure is available. Not a good disease to have when you're 4th on the depth chart.

Team Night Moves: Bad case of being awesome. And that's something I hope never goes away. We really set the league offices off when we celebrated by dancing and singing Smack Her With a Dick in the bottom of the 2nd.

Mike Cohen: What's that movie where the kid becomes a pro player? Rookie of the year? Well sunday was like when the kid can't find the strike zone. It might have been a record performance. 8 runs on 1 hit.

Jesse Welch: Call it Matt Clement Disorder. Big guy gets a come backer right to the face and he was never the same.
