RIP John C. Odom

Ask the most hardcore baseball fan about John C. Odom, oull probably just get a blank stare. Yet millions of people have heard of the slender right hander. He was "Bat Man" or "Bat Guy" or "Bat Boy", the minor league baseball player traded for 10 maple bats.



Wow this wasnt a true story it would probably be funny, but it is and sadly poor John killed himself 6 months after the trade. Medical examiners say he overdosed on heroin, methanphetamine,the stimulant benzylapiperazyne and alcohol, wow he did it right. The team couldnt have just cut him, thats fucking terrible. This guy was in the pros just 2 years ago to he had a 90 mph fastball and a good changeup so he wasnt a complete scrub but, he got cut by the Giants and had an offer form calgary but because of a prior offense couldnt get into canada. Someone remind me that if I ever get traded for equipment to get some gas, some matches, and sean avery to light that bitch up and then have sean kick the shit out of the teams president and his wife. RIP Johnny.
Id take John Odom over these bats anyday.
