This past week the Women's Professional Soccer League held it's inagural match. And like every other women's sporting event, nobody watched it. This is soccer's second attempt at making a women's professional league with the WUSA crashing and burning nearly 6 years ago. Yet women keep trying to make leagues, the WNBA is going nowhere, LPGA is a joke, ATF (tennis?) hasn't had anything on TV in about 6 months, Danica Patrick can't win, so why do they do it? Answer: they try to make themselves seem equal to men in the sports world, obviously not happening. So the morale of the story is, WNBA go home, LPGA watch out for the shit that's falling on you, and everybody else, start applying for bailouts.
Now if you are a girl reading this post, you're probably getting really pissed off and think I'm very sexist, so if you can answer these questions without looking them up, I will apologize.
1 - What did WUSA stand for?
2 - Who was the MVP of the WNBA last year?
3 - Who is currently ranked #1 in the LPGA?
4 - Who is Danica Patrick's Primary sponsor?
5 - Who is the snowboarder who messed up her Olympic run?
Couldn't answer any of the questions? Congragulations. You're American.
