MIAMI -- Doc Rivers spoke to the media after the Celtics' shootaround, and was asked if Shaquille O'Neal (right calf, achilles) would be active for Game 2 of the Eastern Conference semifinal series with the Heat on Tuesday night. "I doubt it," said Rivers, who added that O'Neal looked "great" in practice on Monday, but struggled at the end and felt sore after the practice. He described O'Neal as being a game-time decision, though he does anticipate that the center will play in Game 3 on Saturday night. "He went through the whole practice. He was phenomenal actually. He had one stretch that was phenomenal," said Rivers. "Then by the end of the practice he was struggling walking. We’ll see but I would say Game 3 is becoming likely. Game 2, we're not sure but I doubt it.”
Remember when we signed Shaq and I said something along the lines of, "NOOOOOOO!!!!!"? Well this is why. I'm sick and fucking tired of hearing reports about whether he will or won't play. So he practices great but he can't get himself on the court for a playoff game? Really? Way to man the fuck up, "Diesel." Does anybody really think Shaq is gonna throw on a Celtics jersey this season? He's a whore and the only way to get rid of is to pretend it's gone. Just go away. Don't sit on the bench, don't tweet, don't go be a pretend cop in Worcester. You no longer exist. You're dead to me.
