The Tennessee Titans have claimed former Minnesota Vikings recevier Randy Moss on waivers, sources told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter. Moss plans to report to the Titans, league sources told Schefter. If Moss does not report to the Titans, Tennessee will send him a "5-day" letter and at the end of that five days, they have the right to put him on the Reserve/Left Squad list. He would be out for the remainder of the season once the club takes that action. Moss' status for next year would be determined by terms of the new collective bargaining agreement. The Titans were faced with the absence of receiver Kenny Britt, who hurt his right hamstring on the Titans' second drive in a 33-25 loss at San Diego in Week 8. The Titans don't know how much time he'll miss yet because Britt is still having tests on his leg, though coach Jeff Fisher said he would tell reporters if the injury was bad enough to end Britt's season. Moss hit the waiver wire Tuesday after catching 13 passes for 174 yards and two touchdowns in four games with the Vikings. They lost three of those four games to drop to 2-5 heading into Sunday's game against Arizona.
What's the Titans record? 4-4? Moss is gonna be catching balls from Vince Young? Really? You think that offensive line will give Young enough time to find Moss down field? You already know Randy isn't going across the middle or running any type of slant route. It's TD's or nothing for this guy. Give it 2 weeks before Moss has another mental meltdown.
