I noticed a moment ago that the name Tim Tebow is trending on Twitter. Usually when a random celebrity name pops up in the Twitter trends, it means the person has been arrested or died. For Tebow, it means he's writing a book. About his life. All 23 years of it. It reportedly will be titled Through My Eyes. And here's the thing. No matter what the book says, it will sell. Though Tebow is more polarizing than he'd ever realize or admit, he has plenty of fans who'll plunk down the cash for his book.
Can somebody wake Tim Tebow the fuck up and tell him he's not Jesus? I mean even that dude didn't write his own memoirs, his crew did it for him only after he was dead. I'm actually curious to see what Tebow has to say. Like how hard could his life have been? What has he seen? Has he been to war? Who are you trying to inspire by telling your story of a middle class, privileged white kid who got a full ride to the University of Florida and had the media suck your dick because you were deemed the "good guy"? He hasn't done anything worth writing about. Yeah, he won the Heisman and a national championship in college like 2 years ago. Today he's a 3rd string quarterback behind a guy named Kyle Orton on a struggling football team in a shitty division. So that's the story you want to tell children? Go to college, work your ass off, be a 3rd string QB and fade into oblivion. I'm inspired.
