SAO PAULO — World Cup veteran defenseman Roberto Carlos says he has reached a deal to play for Brazilian club Corinthians in 2010, joining former Brazil teammate Ronaldo. Roberto Carlos told Record radio Wednesday that he will leave Turkey's Fenerbahce to play at least two seasons with Corinthians. Brazil's second-most popular club behind Flamengo, Corinthians signed Ronaldo this year and is expected to have the striker back next season. Roberto Carlos was Ronaldo's teammate with Brazil at the 1998, 2002 and 2006 World Cups. Roberto Carlos is expected to be officially introduced to Corinthians fans on Dec. 20.
That's cool I guess? Roberto Carlos might be the only brazilian who didn't go through a mid career crisis and just stop giving a shit about soccer. Ronaldo did it. Ronaldinho is just coming out of it. Adriano is still in it. Kaka will probably go into after he doesn't produce in next summers world cup. Give Robinho a few more zeros on his contract and he'll start dogging it up and down the field. The last I heard from Ronaldo was that he banged some tranny hooker so it's good to see him doing anything other than that. Anyway, this is all just delaying what my first though was when I first about Roberto Carlos still living his life. I've never seen anyone better at free kicks than him. Besides Beckham but that's only because we have a "thing." Roberto Carlos would seriously rip a shot and would put a whole in you bigger than the you know who's cooter.
