HAMDEN, Conn. -- Hamden police said two kindergartners were found safe about 1 mile from their school after they hid in a classroom and walked out of the building.Authorities said the two 5-year-old girls were discovered to be missing Tuesday after a cafeteria worker at Ridge Hill School noticed they didn't pick up their lunches. School staff and police launched a search and a teacher found them 20 minutes later walking along a road.School officials plan to meet with the parents and girls to make it clear to the students that leaving the school without permission is dangerous.Superintendent of Schools Frances Rabinowitz said the girls were apparently headed to one of their homes.First of all lets give these ladies a round of applause. Hiding then escaping? Obviously fans of Jack Bauer because that is exactly the type of a shit a maverick like him would pull off. I love the attitude of these fine ladies as well. I'll have to ask Donahue how big 5 year old girls are these days but last time I checked you can usually spot a body hiding under a desk.
