LONDON -- Rory McIlroy has returned to Britain, basking in his record-breaking U.S Open triumph and ready for a three-week break before he returns to the course to look for a second straight major victory. The 22-year-old Northern Irishman flew into London's Heathrow Airport on Tuesday morning and is set to make a triumphant homecoming to his native Holywood, near Belfast, either late Tuesday or on Wednesday. McIlroy has pulled out of the French Open, which starts in Paris on June 30, and will not play again until the British Open at Sandwich, southeast England, from July 14-17. After the celebrations, McIlroy intends to relax with his family following his first major victory -- an eight-shot win at Congressional on Sunday.
Well that sums up everything I need to know about Rory. You think Tiger was taking a 3 week vacation after he crushed Augusta in 1997? I don't think so. This kid is like every other young golfer who was supposed to be the next big thing. He's Sergio. He's Paul Casey. He's Trevor Immelman. He's the golfing version of Lebron. He's a good fucking player. But Tiger is a great fucking golfer. Big difference. Huge. We're talking 14 majors to 1. If you think Tiger won't win another major then you're a fucking moron. Dude is 35 years old and he's super horny. He aint 45 and having to pop viagra just to get hard over an eagle on par 5. All I'm saying is I'll be the guy stroking my cat and saying I told you so when El Tigre wins #19
