Roger Federer Out of Wimbledon
Most everybody thought we would have another dream final of Nadal vs Federer, but Jo-Wilfried Tsonga thought differently.
Tsonga, the 19th ranked player in the world, has proven himself a strong player in the tournament but hardly anyone thought he would actually beat Federer. He did, coming back from two sets down to win 6-4 the final game. It was the first ever Grand Slam match that Federer has lost after being up two sets. Tsonga's serve just proved to much for Federer in the later sets and the match ended: 3-6, 6-7, 6-4, 6-4, 6-4
Federer had lost the French Open Final to Nadal and seems to really be on the decline in the recent years. Certainly he's still one of the best players in the world, but it looks more like he'll win two or three more majors in his career as opposed to two or a three a year like he used to.
This is better anyway though cause Nadal is way tigher and now he looks like he'll have a much easier path to his third Wimbledon title.
