Jamal Coombs-McDaniel, 21, a UConn men's basketball player, has been arrested on drug charges.UConn police said they arrested Coombs-McDaniel Thursday night after responding to 18 Jonathan Way to investigate a narcotics complaint.Police said Coombs-McDaniel, a sophomore from Dorchester, Mass., and two other people, were in possession of marijuana, a marijuana grinder and a package of cigars used to smoke marijuana.Police identified the two other men as Shakwaan Ishmale Simpkins, 19, and Stanley Darnel Winn, 19, both of Boston, Mass.

I don't really know why Marijuana is still illegal but that's another post for another day. Laws are laws and maybe it's just me but it seems like you have to be a bit of an idiot to get arrested, you know what I mean? Like you got to be a little stupid. Something isn't exactly clicking upstairs if you think it's a good idea to draw attention to yourself when you're doing something illegal. Here's a prime example. Driving drunk isn't exactly the ideal way to get home but you gotta get home, right? I don't know a ton of taxi cabs in smalltown, USA. So if you're gonna drive, be smart about it. Don't roll around with a busted headlight because it gives the cops a reason to stop you and then smell your breath/car and it'll fuck your whole life up. I know it's common sense shit but that's why I'm the smart guy with the clean criminal record and you're the dipshit with a court date next month.
