Andre Ethier Ridiculous Photo Shoot For L.A. Times Magazine

I'm not sure what's worse - the "uggghhhh" inducing title of this article or the actual pictures. "Dre's Anatomy"? Seriously? I'm always a fan of terrible puns but "Dre's Anatomy"? Are you kidding me? Andre Ethier, outfielder for the Los Angeles Dodgers, did a photo shoot for L.A. Times Magazine and looked absolutely ridiculous. You may be thinking, "L.A. Times Magazine...where do I remember that from?". Well 3 months ago Kobe Bryant also did a photo shoot for L.A. Times Magazine looking just as ridiculous. The interview actually wasn't terrible and Ethier seems like a good guy but were the pictures really necessary? In the picture at the top he looks like Fegan Floop from Spy Kids.

Henrik Zetterberg Gets Married in Jail Attire

Detroit Red Wings forward Henrik Zetterberg got married last week to Swedish TV personality Emma Anderson. That's probably about the only normal event that occurred. Zetterberg and Anderson made their guests dress up in these ridiculous outfits that looked like a combination of something Michael Cera and Perez Hilton would wear. If someone tried to tell me Alcatraz had a gay brother island and they were all locked on it, I would buy it. Some of Zetterberg's teammates, including Johan Franzen, Nicklas Lindstrom and Pavel Datsyuk, attended which will do wonders for their trash talking abilities next season.


Ahhhh yes, just the way to make these outfits more macho - cover them up with a matching bathrobe/slipper set. Or wear that hat. Either works. I can think of nothing more manly than a bunch of hockey players dressing up in striped tank-top onesies and posing for pictures together. Bananas in Pajamas called...they want their outfits back.

The "White" Mamba Photoshopped

You may recall about a month ago I posted about Kobe's ridiculous photo shoot in all-white. Well I came across some funny edits and thought I would share them with you. Enjoy.

The "White" Mamba?

Kobe Bryant may be known as the "Black Mamba" but his photo shoot for L.A. Times Magazine was anything but black. In fact, it was just plain weird. I can't think of any other way to describe it. He is wearing nothing but white pieces of clothing in every shot. What was he thinking? Does he really need to pose for a cover shoot during the middle of the playoffs? I'm not sure who decided all of these looks would be a good idea but it looks like something Lady Gaga would pick out for her boyfriend. The pictures are below.

Okay, is it just me or does this first shot look eerily like he is trying to do the "Blue Steel" pose from Zoolander? And who wears a headband under a top hat?? Oh yeah, I almost forgot about the bow-tie that blends into the entire outfit like it's a chameleon.




2. Kobe "The Situation" Bryant
This one looks like a hybrid between a burka and something someone from Jersey Shore would wear. That is the most ridiculous v-neck I have ever seen. To add insult to injury, the v-neck and hat/hood/drape/whatever the hell that is combo would set you back $1,265!!




3. Kobe Mayweather
This one just looks like a shot of a boxer before a fight. You know, when he comes out of the dressing room in his pre-fight attire. Maybe he was watching the Mayweather vs. Mosley fight this weekend and became inspired.




4. Aladin Bryant/Prince Ali Ababwa
I think he was trying to go for an Aladin type appearance in this one with that vest. Those shorts look like something Nadal would wear at the French Open.




5. Cape Cod Kobe
And finally, the last picture from the shoot. This is probably the most normal picture of them all except for the fact that he looks like he is trying to do the "Blue Steel" pose again.
