Everyone knows The Royal Wedding between Prince William and Kate Middleton starts in about 3 hours so what a better way to celebrate royalty than to bet on it. Over at Bodog there are 15 different things you can bet on relating to The Royal Wedding and here are my picks for all of them:

8. Will the Wedding Car break down on the way to Westminster Abbey? No

9. Will Prince Harry (Best Man) drop the Wedding Ring during the Ceremony? No

10. What will be the color of the first bikini shot on Honeymoon worn by Kate Middleton? Red

Floyd Mayweather Won Almost $40k Betting on the Bulls Last Night

Boxer Floyd Mayweather won $37,272.75 last night on the Bulls. He tweeted "My lil brother Derrick Rose will always get you Paid" along with a picture of the betting slip which shows he made a halftime bet that the Hawks wouldn't outscore the Bulls by 6 or more the rest of the game. The Bulls outscored the Hawks 42-38 in the 2nd half.


I think this is exactly the purpose of twitter the founders had in mind when they created it - so famous people could post pictures of the ridiculous awesome shit they do. I can't even imagine betting $41k on something. I'd be nervous betting $41k even if my odds were 100% to win. That amount of money is clearly nothing to him so winning $37,272.75 is just like extra fun money. It's a lock he went out and spent that on coke, booze and strippers. Must be nice.

I'm pretty sure Mayweather has a gambling problem. Problem? She's the problem! She slept with the entire offensive-line of the Arizona Cardinals! I digress. Point in case:

11/08/10 - $110,000 on the Steelers -3.0 in the first half

12/25/10 - $40,000 on the Heat +4.5 in the second half

12/26/10 - $10,000 on the Buccaneers -3.0 in the second half

2/25/11 - $30,000 on the Suns -2.0 in the first half

2/25/11 - $20,000 on the Wizards +9.5 in the second half

He just so happened to win all these bets he posted on twitter which means there's also a ton more that he lost and didn't post. MTV should have a reality show where Mayweather, John Daly and Charles Barkley all live together in a casino in Vegas and the cameras just follow them around gambling and drinking. I would definitely watch that.

UPDATE: Well the booze part is confirmed. He just tweeted "We pop bottles the size of PreSchool Kids lol" along with this picture. I'm a little bit jealous right now.

Okay, so I broke rule number one of baseball betting. I bet against the Washington Nationals. I deserved to go 0 for 4. Seriously, I swing and missed more than Chad Billingsley at a frat party. He's portly.

-Dodgers vs. Giants (OVER 7.5) - 4:10 PM (MLB) - My boy Chad Billingsley will probably be too distracted by my analogy to have a pitching duel with the ever-inconsistent Barry Zito.

- Braves (+1.5) vs. Reds - 4:10 PM (MLB)

-Mariners (moneyline) vs. Twins - 7:10 PM (MLB) - King Felix and his league leading 145 strikeouts takes on the Twins in the surprisingly un-hitter friendly Target Field.

-Orioles vs. Royals (moneyline) - 7:10 PM (MLB) - Zack Greinke won a CY Young award. Start acting like it.

Pirates vs. Cardinals (-1.5) 8:15 PM (MLB) - Chris Carpenter vs. a team with a 36-65 record. Just sayin'.

A couple things to note here is that I'm obviously picking very easy games, and only took the moneyline to improve my record early on. I'm trying to sneak this by you. Also, you'll quickly find that I'm both better at picking baseball games and sexier than Billy Blog Thornton.

Betting with Chips' Stacks

Hello children,

You may have seen (but probably not since this blog doesn't get many viewers) the post in the left column of the blog titled "Betting with Chips' Stacks". Our good friend, who shall not be named, is a frequent gambler. He uses his dad's credit card to make all of his gambling picks so that he takes the one constant out of gambling - risk. We asked him to submit his daily betting picks to the blog and he agreed. The picks are listed from top to bottom by how confident he is. He constantly brags that his betting winning percentage is greater than any person he knows so we are here to not only test that but provide the readers with great picks every day so you can become just as rich as his dad is. Feel free to submit your daily picks in the comments and if any of you have a better pick % than he does after 25 picks we will let you make the picks from now on. I will make a new post containing all picks so that you can reference it in the future.
