Glee 3D Movie on the Way

glee 3d movie lea michele naya rivera osama seal
After seeing the topic of this post and before I even started to type it all I could muster was "Naya Rivera is sluttier than Lea Michele", "Naya Rivera here is what I want my wife to dress like and Lea Michele here is what I want my daughter to dress like and the guy on the left is what I'm going to dress like" and "ughhhhhhh". The people behind "Glee" are planning a 3D movie of their upcoming tour. I mean, obviously this will make a shit ton of money and obviously I'll end up watching it but again, "ughhhhhhh". Deadline.com says:
20th Century Fox TV and film divisions have partnered to produce GLEE LIVE! 3D!, a feature film based on the upcoming Glee Live! In Concert! North American tour. The studio plans to release the film for a two-week engagement starting Aug. 12. Gleeks who were unable to get tickets will be able to catch the concert in 3D. The tour starred 14 members of the Emmy- and Golden Globe-winning TV show, and the film will also feature behind-the-scenes moments. The feature will be directed by Fame helmer Kevin Tancharoen.

Given the rabid following that Ryan Murphy's show has, this seems like as good as a cash machine for the studio. It worked for Sony on the Michael Jackson documentary This Is It! (whose limited run was extended, something that always seems to happen), and Paramount cleaned up with the Justin Bieber documentary Never Say Never.
Maybe they can re-create a shot of the SEALs sniping Osama with Cory Monteith singing "Courtesy of the Red, White, & Blue", Lea Michele singing "God Bless the Broken Road" to tear at the audience's heart strings and then bring in Puck to sing "The Taliban Song" to restore the manliness.

"Glee" Covers GQ Magazine

Oh mylanta. "Glee's" Lea Michele and Dianna Agron are on the cover of the November issue of GQ magazine. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I realize Cory Monteith is also on the cover but I'm pretty sure no one is paying any attention to him. They have the slutty classy look down to a science. After learning that the set of "Glee" is like one big giant orgy and then seeing these pictures it actually inspired me to take singing lessons. Oh, and go back to high school.

When my roommates (no, not my parents) started watching "Glee" last year I hated it at first. I thought it was the second worst show on t.v., after American Idol. After the first season ended I decided to give it a chance and watched all the episodes. I was hooked, but it was the kind of hooked that you only do alone while making sure no one is watching or knows about it. Speaking of which, why am I even saying this? The second season's plot has not been nearly as good as the first but with a rumored Taylor Swift episode in the works things are looking up.

The show has gotten pretty racy awesome lately, complete with lesbian sex scenes and as long as it keeps producing things like this photo shoot I'll keep paying attention to it.
